I was feeling extra generous and wanted to treat my mom out for a weekday dinner date. Instead of going to our usual date place (Pho Hoa), I decided to take her to Earth Kitchen instead. I’ve heard a lot of great compliments about this restaurant. Earth kitchen is famous for its farm-to-table concept, meaning, everything they serve is organic (and healthy).
Earth Kitchen’s interiors will make you feel as if your dinning it a beautiful, serene garden. Their place is full of greens and wood, making you feel closer to nature.
On the Table:
Curried Squash Soup (Php 200) – pumpkin, yogurt and mint
I love Pumpkin soup! I think they’re the best! So I was expecting a creamy, a bit sweet soup. But Earth Kitchen’s version is bit different from what I have expected. I didn’t expect that it has a “curry” flavor, was expecting for the “minty” flavor but there was none. My mom enjoyed it though. Maybe next time we should try the Mushroom Soup.
Mushroom Spring Rolls (Php 330) – Organic Shiitake Mushrooms, peanuts, herbs and lime sauce
One of the best spring rolls we’ve ever had. The ingredients were really fresh, the sour, tangy taste is just right. My bf thought the side sauce was peanut sauce but he found out it’s like tamarind sauce which made his rolls extra sour 😛
Earth Kitchen Ravioli (Php 400) – Kamote tops, white cheese, pili nuts, pomodoro sauce, basil and parmesan cheese
This is the best dish we’ve ordered. It surely will melt into your mouth! I love the combination of cheeses with the kamote tops and tomato sauce. Id’d definitely order this again!
Shrimp and Arugula Pasta (Php 360) – Shrimp & organic produced arugula
This doesn’t taste pasta to me at all. It looked like Pad Thai and true enough, it tasted like Pad Thai. But it’s good anyways 😛
Fresh Guyabano Juice (Php 280 / pitcher) – Refreshing! ❤
We paid Php 1,600+ (Php 100 discount included and we even had free ice cream!)
